Weekend SURPRISE!

Grandma had the best early Christmas present ever delivered on the sly Saturday afternoon for Kaley...check it out:

"What's going on Grammy"? OH MY GOSH...it's a PIANO!!!

Grandma and Kaley both cried (OK, I teared up too)...how sweet!

Look at the smile on that face while she checks out her new toy. :)

TA DAH!

And here it is all cleaned up and decked out for Christmas...isn't it beautiful?! Kaley has been wanting a piano ever since she was little, she has taught herself to play a bit and is always playing on Grandma's when she visits. We got her an awesome keyboard for her last birthday, but it's just not the same. This was such a wonderful thing...we are so happy for Kaley and can't wait to find her a piano teacher! Thank you sooooo much Grandma and Poppy!

WOW! That piano is just beautiful! Wherever did your mom find such a lovely piece? It has "heirloom material" written ALL over it! Gorgeous! What a lucky girl! I need to come shopping with Grandma...LOL! Holiday Hugs - Missy

That is awesome! I know you told me about it but that is SOOO COOL! Your mom ROCKS! Kaley looks thrilled. I love where you put it too. It looks BEAUTIFUL all decked out for the holidays.
Congrats to Kaley on her new PIANO. I hope Caroline decides to learn to play too!!

Thanks girls! Actually, Grandma didn't even have to shop for this one...it kinda fell into her lap so to speak. A co-worker was trying to give it away for ages (we didn't know), so my Mom snapped it up! She just had to pay for the piano mover...how cool is that?! I think it is an antique, we are checking into it. It's prettier in person too. :) Kaley's been busy practicing Christmas songs since it arrived, that puts us all in the holiday spirit!

O.k. Well that settles it then...I need to plan a week's vacation at K's, another week at R's...live holiday music and snow (respectively) - we just need to do a girlie holiday vacation round robin...how lovely would that be??? Nice to dream...
