Today we celebrated with my brother-in-law Bobby as he turned 29 on Wednesday. He had a great party today, the girls had a blast! They have always loved Uncle Bobby cause he's as goofy as they are, ha ha! Here's the birthday boy with Kaley and Caroline...
They put together a home made slip and slide and the girls couldn't wait to try it out!
Not sure who enjoyed it more, the kids or the grown ups, LOL!
This is my girls with their Auntie Monica that they don't get to see much, they miss her. :)
The party had a tropical theme and had lots of beverages and munchies for young and old and I think Uncle Bobby enjoyed himself with his family and friends.
This is a favorite picture of the girls and their Uncle Bobby from the holidays...
Happy Birthday Uncle Bobby (here with my gorgeous sister Lisa-his wife)...WE LOVE YOU!!!!

Two Horses
A very old and dear friend sent me this poem and I loved it so much I had to post it here. A few of my close friends have been surviving difficult times lately, so this goes out to them...
Two Horses
Just up the road from my home is a field,
with two horses in it.
From a distance, each looks like every other horse.
But if you stop your car, or are walking by,
you will notice something quite amazing.
Looking into the eyes of one horse will
disclose that he is blind.
His owner has chosen not to have him put down,
but has made a good home for him.
This alone is amazing.
If nearby and listening,
you will hear the sound of a bell.
Looking around for the source of the sound,
you will see that it comes from the
smaller horse in the field.
Attached to her halter is a small bell.
It lets her blind friend know where she is,
so he can follow her.
As yo u stand and watch these two friends,
you'll see how she is always checking on him,
and that he will listen for her bell and then
slowly walk to where she is, trusting that she
will not lead him astray. When she returns to the
shelter of the barn each evening, she stops
occasionally and looks back, making sure her
friend isn't too far behind to hear the bell.
Like the owners of these two horses,
God does not throw us away just because
we are not perfect or because we have problems
or challenges. He watches over us and even brings
others into our lives to help us when we are in need.
Sometimes we are the blind horse being guided by
the little ringing bell of those who God places in our lives.
Other times we are the guide horse, helping others see.
Good friends are like this ..........
You don't always see them,
but you know they are always there.
Please listen for my bell and I'll listen for yours.

Weekend Update
Sorry that it's been a while since I've posted bloggers, but it was a very stressful week at work after being out sick. Glad to be feeling better and was able to have some fun this weekend. After helping out (as a family) at my Sisters garage sale, we kept my 3 year old Neice for a sleepover...we had a blast! She is not pictured here but I have included some snaps of my 2 crazy kids livin it up like we were 3 again, ha ha!
After a "pasketti" dinner (Neice's request), the girls had a little dance party moment. Here's one of Kaley bustin a move...
followed by her sis Caroline doing her best disco pose...
"Heeeyyyyyy-ooohhhh"
I'm a crazy girl in a crazy wooorld, LOL!
After the Solid Gold fun, we moved into my bathroom to play beauty parlor and got all dolled up and modeled our new looks. Here's Liney's grown up model stance...take a good look at the hair cause she NEVER wears it down, tee hee. :)
Kaley curled her own hair for this one, she did a great job too!
After the modeling session, we hopped in the car and headed to Sonic for some ice cream while showing off our new looks. Then after a movie and lots of restlessness on the part of my Neice, Caroline finally gave up...after getting Neice to sleep I found her like this...
After Dunkin Donuts for breakfast (Neice's request), we all headed for the pool...even Doug got in on the act below. Can you believe this man works on our pool every day and will come in the yard and watch us swim and relax in a chair in the blazing sun, but WILL NOT take a dip...crazy dude!
Caroline grabs her unsuspecting Sis and plants a wet pool kiss right on her!
Kaley grabs her right back and silliness ensues...
After a few spills on the slip and slide, Kaley decided to "wash off" with the hose...this started a whole new hilarious game for the 3 Stooges (er I mean angels), ha ha!
We finished off the day with a nap and some burgers on the grill that we shared with my parents...my hubby makes the best burgers too, yum! Hope you all had a great weekend too, I'll try not to be such a stranger this week...
